[FIRST IMPRESSION] Attack on Titan Season 3

Plot:

Recovering from their latest attack, Eren and the others stay in a small hideout in Titan territory. Hanji carries out experiments to discover whether they’d be able to put Armin’s plan into action, using Eren’s hardening ability to seal the hole in Wall Maria and taking back Shiganshina from the Titans. Pastor Nick is found murdered in Trost District, with Hanji suspecting that the Military Police were guilty thanks to signs that Nick’s killers had tortured him before he died. Levi is also suspicious, surmising that people within the government are trying to take down the Survey Corps for fear that they’ll discover Historia’s true identity. Erwin tips off Levi from inside the Interior. He’s been arrested and they’re next. Quickly, everyone evacuates just before the Military Police show up. They head towards Trost, trying to keep Eren and Historia safe, but they both appear to have been abducted… Meanwhile, Levi comes across a figure from his past: the serial killer, Kenny the Ripper.

But after what he’s seen, can therapy save him from flashbacks of the past?

Plot:

Reigen Arataka claims himself to be the next big thing in the world of psychics; which (considering he has no supernatural ability) is a bit of a bold claim. He runs an exorcism agency in Seasoning City, where he hires a middle schooler named Kageyama Shigeo for 300 yen an hour. Kageyama, also known as Mob, possesses real extrasensory perception so Reigen uses him to defeat spirits whilst pretending to act as his mentor. The duo ‘team up’ to help their clients but there’s one big problem… it’s only a matter of time before Mob explodes.

[FIRST IMPRESSION] New Game!! (Season 2)

Plot:

Suzukaze Aoba starts her second year at work, daunted at the possibility of being a senpai to the new hires… only to find out that there aren’t any. (Mostly) undeterred at the prospect of being the youngest in the office for another year, Aoba proposes that she takes on more challenging characters to design. Hazuki asks the Eagle Jump employees to pitch ideas for a game, but in the meantime, everyone goes to a hanami party. There, she announces that there’ll be a competition to become the next project’s lead character designer.

[FIRST IMPRESSION] Samurai Champloo

Plot:

A young man with a hot temper finds himself in a teahouse where the son of the village prefect is eating. The prefect’s son threatens one of the waitresses and she strikes a deal with the man to protect herself. The man, a wanderer named Mugen, launches into action.

Another man, a swordsman named Jin, saves a peasant from being executed by the prefect’s bodyguards. Jin arrives at the teahouse and is pulled into the fight after Mugen deems him a suitable opponent. In the ensuing chaos, the teahouse is set on fire and both Mugen and Jin are captured, before being sentenced to death.

The waitress, Fuu, makes it her responsibility to free the two men so they can help her find someone: a samurai who smells like sunflowers.

Plot:

In an alternate version of Tokyo, where beings known as Ghouls hunt and eat people, Kaneki Ken leads a relatively normal life. He’s painfully shy, but plucks up the courage to ask out a girl who frequents his favourite café. She seems perfect; she’s pretty, likes the same things as Kaneki, and she even seems interested in him too. After their date, he walks her home… and soon realises she wants him for completely different reasons. She’s a Ghoul, but before she can kill him, she’s crushed by falling scaffolding and dies. Kaneki wakes up in hospital, with a strange eye and a new-found thirst for human flesh…

Plot:

What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us? In a world of airborne islands and anthropomorphised animals, a man named Willem Kmetsch lives on the outskirts of society. To avoid the island’s prejudice of ‘disfeatureds’ he keeps a low profile… until he saves a girl’s life. When promised a large sum of money, Willem reluctantly leaves the island and takes a military job to pay off his debt but it’s nothing like he imagined. He is given the role of caretaker for a weapons warehouse, but when he gets there, he doesn’t see any weapons. There’s only a group of young girls, and a couple of familiar faces.  It is revealed that the children are the weapons, and now it’s Willem’s job to look after them.
